Welcome to go.standpartner.app. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit our website and interact with our services. By accessing or using our website, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
(a) Personal Information: We may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, profile photo, email address, contact details, and other relevant information you provide voluntarily when filling out forms or interacting with our website.
(b) Non-Personal Information: We may also collect non-personal information, such as your browser type, operating system, IP address, and website usage data. This information helps us improve our website's performance and user experience.
Our website is intended for music teachers and their students, including those under the age of 13. As such, we may collect personal information from children under 13 in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you are under 13 years old, please obtain your parent's or legal guardian's consent before providing any personal information on our website.
(a) Parental Consent: Before collecting personal information from children under 13, we require verifiable parental consent. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe we have collected information from your child without appropriate consent, please contact us, and we will promptly delete the data.
Information submitted by your child — including their name, profile photo, schedule, and practice activity — may be visible to their assigned teacher(s), studio administrator(s), and other authorized users associated with their studio. This visibility is necessary for the functioning of the platform and is limited to individuals with a legitimate educational relationship to the student.
(b) Child-Friendly Privacy Policy: Our privacy policy is written in a way that is easy for children and parents to understand. We clearly state what information is being collected, how it will be used, and how parents can give their consent or request the deletion of their child's information.
We provide a help chat feature designed to answer questions about how to use the Stand Partner platform. This tool is available to both teachers and students, including those under the age of 13. To protect user privacy, we do not store or retain any personal information entered into the chat. Additionally, all messages submitted to the chat are automatically reviewed and scrubbed to remove personal identifiers such as names, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, and birthdates before any processing occurs.
We explicitly instruct all users — including children — not to enter personal or sensitive information in the chat. If such information is entered, it is automatically redacted and not stored in our system or transmitted to third-party services. This means we do not collect, store, or disclose personal information through the chat assistant, and therefore do not require verifiable parental consent for its use under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
(a) Personal Information: We may use your personal information to communicate with you, provide services, process transactions, respond to inquiries, and send periodic updates, promotions, or other content you have consented to receive. This may include user-submitted content such as practice reflections, comments, or schedule updates that are shared within the platform.
(b) Non-Personal Information: Non-personal information is used to analyze website trends, administer the site, track user interactions, and gather demographic information for internal purposes.
We may use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience and gather information about how you use our website. You can modify your browser settings to refuse cookies or alert you when they are being used. However, some website features may not function correctly without cookies.
We may engage third-party service providers to perform various functions on our behalf. These may include website hosting, analytics, marketing, and payment processing. We only share the information necessary for them to perform their services, and they are required to handle your data securely and confidentially.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no data transmission over the internet or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Parents of children under 13 can review the personal information collected from their children and request its deletion. You may also opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us by following the instructions in the emails we send. Please contact us if you wish to exercise any of these rights. Parents are encouraged to supervise their child's use of Stand Partner and review their shared activity regularly.
